The leadership aims at providing a Mission-oriented, Simplified, Accountable, Transparent &
Responsive ‘System’ for faster & efficient distribution of Scholarships applications and
delivery of funds directly into receivers account without any leakages.

Mission

The Mission Mode Project (MMP) of National Scholarships Portal under the National e-Governance
Plan aims at providing a general electronic portal for executing various Scholarships schemes
launched by State Government, Union Territories, and Union Government across India.

  • Harmonisation of different Scholarships schemes & norms
  • Provide a general portal for several Scholarships schemes of Central and State Governments.

Scholarship Schemes On The NSP:

The National Scholarship Portal has made a particular Application Form for all the students for the
different scholarship scheme. Ere this student has to fill Multiple forms for a specific Schemes, and it
is complicated and hectic for them and also a time-consuming process. So to reduce the load, NSP
has made a form. Here we are providing that application form.

National Scholarship Scheme Guidelines for Eligibility:

The below table shows the minimum eligibility conditions to apply for any of the scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal. Students accomplishing the Scheme guidelines of various Ministries are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

How To apply for NSP-National Scholarship Portal Application Form Online?

To take benefits of all the mentioned Government scholarships, candidates have to register on the Student Login portal by filling the common application form and providing their personal and academic details. After completing the application form and filling all the mandatory details, you can see a list of all the scholarships that you are qualified to apply.

That’s why we provide the step-by-step procedure to log into the National Scholarship Portal with filling out the application form. So follow the steps given below and ensure that all the details provided by you are accurate and correct.

National Scholarship Portal Registration

To apply for an online scholarship, follow The Step given below:

  • Step 1: First, you need to open national scholarship portal at the below link https://scholarships.gov.in
  • Step 2: Here we are providing the details about application form below for the students who want to apply. Note that confirm all the details you give are correct and proper.So check out the below option

National Scholarship Portal Student Login

  • Step 1: First, from the home page of the National Scholarship Portal select the login for the Students.
  • Step 2: After that next fill all the required details and register.
  • Step 3: After giving all the required details for registration, you will get a 20 digit temporary Registration Number. The candidate gets the permanent registration number via SMS on register mobile number. Once applicant completed the registration process, then the old temporary Number is not valid.
  • Step 4: After getting the Temporary Registration Number, use it for login as id and password use birth date for login into the NSP.
  • Step 5: Once the applicant log-in into the National Scholarship Portal 2.0 using of temporary Number and birth date, then it’s time to fill the following details:
    Personal Details & Bank Account Details: Here applicant has to enter the correct and accurate personal and bank details. Why it is essential because the government transfers the amount of scholarship in the provided bank account.

    Academic Details: here enter all the details of academic details of past and present.

    Details of Scheme: As per the last date of registration, the list of scholarship scheme appears on display. And also considering a student’s educational qualification and region.

    Documents for upload: Any suitable candidate can apply for one or more scholarship. After selecting scholarship, a portal will redirect you to the next page where you have to submit listed documents.

  • Step 6: To complete the process student have to give his/her correct contact details.
  • Step 7: After complete all the process step by step, you can save and print your application by selecting the option ‘Print Your Application.’ To check application status, one can use ‘Check Your Status’ option.
