National Scholarship Portal

NSP-National Scholarship Portal is coming under the Digital India program which started by the government of India. It is for the students who are willing to study but cannot get the education due to lack of money. For these students, the National Scholarship Portal 2.0 (NSP) provides a unique and simplified platform to help them and get benefits of educational scholarships efficiently and transparently.

It’s a one-stop solution for which some services like application receipt, student application, sanction, processing, and disbursal of various scholarships to students enabled. National Scholarship Portal is taken as Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan(NGP). The Official Website of NSP is www.scholarships.gov.in.

The leadership aims at providing a Mission-oriented, Simplified, Accountable, Transparent & Responsive ‘SMART’ System for faster & efficient distribution of Scholarships applications and delivery of funds directly into receivers account without any leakages.

Objectives of National Scholarship Portal:

  • Application of Direct Benefit Transfer
  • Ensure timely disbursement of Scholarships to students
  • Harmonisation of different Scholarships schemes & norms
  • Provide a general portal for several Scholarships schemes of Central and State Governments
  • Avoid duplication in processing
  • Create a transparent database of scholars

Scholarship Schemes On The NSP:

The National Scholarship Portal has made a particular Application Form for all the students for the different scholarship scheme. Ere this student has to fill Multiple forms for a specific Schemes, and it is complicated and hectic for them and also a time-consuming process. So to reduce the load, NSP has made a form. Here we are providing that application form.

National Scholarship Scheme Guidelines for Eligibility

The below table shows the minimum eligibility conditions to apply for any of the scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal. Students accomplishing the Scheme guidelines of various Ministries are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
